The trip with Woodside Bible Church went fantastic! We will miss all of them very much! They did an unbelievable job with all the work that they got done on the new orphanage and it looks great.
There is still a little finish work that the contractor will need to do to finish up the project but they did more than we were expecting them to do.
The Akha are planning on moving the 25 kids into the orphanage this month sometime.
While Woodside was here we held the orphanage Dedication on February 18, 2008.
They were expecting over 600 people to be at the dedication! It was a wonderful service that Pastor John and the other Akha pastors planned. They had some traditional Akha dances and all 25 of the kids that will be put in the orphanage were there and sang a song for everyone.
